But that’s not all because there are many kids who just enjoy looking at these. Some start by wanting to be healthier and start exercising and eating healthy. But as stated by Monika Ostroff, "Anorexia is an effective way to cope with difficult circumstances because it serves to distract the sufferer from the pain."And the most common way anorexia starts is “dieting”. The problem starts when this gets out of control or become excessive. According to Lindsey Hall "One common misconception is that people become anorexic because they are self-absorbed, vain individuals who place too much importance on their looks."

The percentage of teenage anorexia around the world
As you know Anorexia is not the only eating disorder, there is also Bulimia. These are two different types of disorders but they generate the same results, very thin teenagers and sometimes in the extreme death. 1 of every 100 girls in the world may develop an eating disorder, such as Bulimia or Anorexia; this is the equivalent for .18% of the overall population, and of the six billion people in the world that suffer Anorexia. Talking of teenagers there is 5 of 10 GIRLS suffering Anorexia, predictable most of them are teens but they can also result being adults.
